I had a very interesting day today, wow. These are the new Toms that my best friend surprised me with today when she got home from work. They are so comfy and look awesome and they were the perfect thing to make my day super awesome! They accent my sweet ACE bandage really well too haha (Yeah my ankle is still swollen but I don't have to have surgery or anything so that's good)
It's our little Sadie-bug! Not only did we move our furniture back home this weekend, but we got to bring our puppy-dog back with us. She's super cute and fuzzy, a great snuggler and cuddles up with us at night :)
The edge of the hurricane we drove through today to move our furniture to Abilene to our new apartment. This storm was crazy intense and it took us about 4 hours to get from Coppell, Tx to Abilene because it was raining so hard and we had to drive so slow. It was crazy!
This is the quilt that my great-grandmother made for me when I was born. I really love this quilt because it's super soft, warm and it's the only thing that I have left from my great-grandmother so it's really special to me. My favorite part are the triathlon-running turtles!
This pic is a beautiful one of our new drapes that Liz bought and installed today while I was at class and work. They are just awesome. Our room is so dark now that we can actually sleep in now, weird! My best friend is a hoss!

This is the beginning of our cross wall in our new apartment. The middle cross is one that me and Liz picked out together. The cross on the right is the one that she picked out and the one on the left is the one that I picked out. The cross on the bottom middle is the cross that I got a while back for my apartment at the Quarters. So if you ever run out of gift ideas for either one of us, you can just get us a sweet cross for our cross wall. Ok good talk...
So I found this in the lobby area of Old Main today and apparently Makona was the service organization of the year in '05-'06. Very nice!
So I actually did this late last night but wanted to use this today as my picture to show you what I did to myself. I'm the allstar who destroys himself playing intramural football. I chipped off the end of my left fibula when I ran up on another dude's leg playing football and ended up in the emergency room with Liz and Alyssa and Kenny. So I'll be on crutches for at least a week and once the swelling goes down (a lot) I have to come back to the doctor to have it checked out to make sure I didn't tear any ligaments or anything also, cuz they think I might have. Lame.
I made the play though. On the last play of my McMurry Intramural career, I sacked the quarterback for a loss of like 8 yards or something like that. At least I went out with a bang...
This the $.50 bag of popcorn I bought from at group at TTUHSC doing a fundraiser and my sweet tea I had for lunch today. This was the best part of lunch because lunch at the cafeteria of University Medical Center totally sucks. I tried it out because the hospital gave me some food vouchers to make up for my dad waiting for about 6 hours to have his surgery and thought I might as well save some money and eat for free if I can. Big mistake...

I took a small trip to Walmart to get some fresh air and a change of scenery from the hospital I've been staying at with my dad while he is recovering from surgery and I found this shirt at Walmart. I want it. It's awesome.

It's probably hard to tell just what this is, but this is a picture of the working ceiling fan that is in the bedroom of our apartment at the Quarters. Now this may seem like no big deal (I mean come on, pretty much every bedroom in the history of bedrooms has a ceiling fan in it), but this is a WORKING ceiling fan. Something we haven't had since I moved into the Quarters last June. I put a work order in to fix the fan the week I moved in and someone just now came to work on the fan, 3ish months later, and a week before we move out into our new apartment at Timber Ridge. Thought that was pretty funny...

We get to see these beautiful colors every Tues/Thurs morning in Servant Leadership class. I love that stained glass and wish we could still have chapel in there on Tues mornings.

Socks absolutely HATES his carrier when we try to put him in it when we travel, but once we'er on the road, he sits in it almost the whole time and sleeps. What a tool...
