Liz & I went to the Galleria mall today to shop for wedding bands. This mall is so stinking, crazy, giant, fancy. Oh geez!

Tonight Liz, Momma Whiting, Alyssa, Kenny, & I all went out to Hard 8 Pit Bar-B-Que to eat dinner. This is the same place where I will be hosting the rehearsal dinner for Liz & I's wedding. Oh boy was it good! Beeyah!

Today was the memorial service for my great uncle Grady Thompson. I will always remember him coming over with his wife Dortha when we visited my grandparents & just being so nice. He was a WW2 veteran & flew 26 missions on a B-17 bomber over France & Germany. I love you Uncle Grady, I'll see you around.

Today for my Catholic/Protestant Theology course, we traveled to the Catholic diocese in San Angelic & met with bishop Phiefer. He was a very interesting man & all the people at the diocese were really nice. They cooked us a great lunch & gave a tour of the retreat center that they have on site too. We went walking around the complex & found this really amazing figure of Jesus that outlined His whole life & I thought it was the coolest thing.

I saw this at Walmart when I was grocery shopping & thought it might be something worth trying with Sadie to help with her barking issues. She gets really anxious when she is by herself & will bark all day while Liz & I are at work. Hopefully we can find something that will help her out.

I got a strange text from Ben today as I was getting out of class about trees on windows & black ice. Turns out that those messages translated into me having a black ice air freshener on my windshield. I gotta say that for a random, free air freshener it smells pretty good. Thanks buddy

Liz & I met up with Momma Whiting in Thurber, TX for dinner tonight at one of our favorite restaurants: The Smoke Stack. Thurber is about half way between DFW & Abilene & is a really neat place. The current population is somewhere between 5-10 (probably depending on how many people are eating in the restaurant at the time) & used to be a huge stop for the T&P railroad because of oil. Really cool place & really great food make it one of our favorite spots to stop while out on the road.

Well today was Alyssa's birthday (happy birthday Alyssa) so a few of us went out to celebrate. Going out to get my car some gas I saw this truck with a sweet Scuba Steve paint job. Oh yeah!

Tonight was date night! Me & Liz went to dinner at Olive Garden (yum!) & then went to watch the play at McMurry called "A Fitting Conclusion" (which both Lee & Miranda were in). It was a great date night & we both had a good time :)

The was the spot where the pipes burst in the church during the snowpacolypse. Those little pipes flooded almost the entire church & we are now in the rebuilding phase & all the tile in the education wing of the church is having to be replaced. Poor church :(

Poor Liz got a blow out at work today so I drove in & helped her fix her flat. I had never seen a tire blowout like that before! It was torn all the way around, crazy!
